Distillerie Garnier 20 year old Calvados
Discover the Distillerie Garnier's most esteemed Calvados - the 20 Year Old Calvados, a true masterpiece of the Calvados world. Established in 1877 by Pierre Garnier in Frenes, the distillery is now in the hands of his 5th generation successors, Patrick and Nicolas.
This 20 Year Old Calvados is a blend of all the Calvados made since the early days of the distillery. A minimum of 20 years of aging in French oak barrels and traces of much older French spirit create an exceptional complexity of aromas and flavors. Made with 100% apples from 30 different varieties, every fruit is washed and manually sorted before being pressed. A natural fermentation process of a few months precedes the distillation in a copper column still bought in 1923.
This Calvados is the perfect choice for the most demanding of palates, looking for a Calvados of extreme finesse, purity, balance, and complexity. The fruit-focused signature of the house remains present, but with older, more mature, and sophisticated notes.
Best enjoyed neat, this Calvados is ideal for sipping and savoring alone or with friends, and with plenty of time to fully decipher its aroma and flavor profile.
Experience the unmatched DNA of the house - the unmistakable imprint of the apple in all its purity - with every sip of the Distillerie Garnier's 20 Year Old Calvados.
