Scoring 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, the Hors d’Age blend from the house of Jean Cavé is a well-deserved, award winning Armagnac that secured two gold medal awards - one at the International Contest of Bruxelles in 2018, and the other at the General Agricultural Contest in 2018.
The notion of Hors d'Age means that the blend consists of several vintage Armagnacs, the youngest of which is at least 10 years old. As a long standing and traditional armagnac producer; House of Jean Cavé is said to boast blends of up to 25 years of age.
Situated amidst the Bas-Armagnac region, the house of Jean Cavé boasts four generations of expertise in the art of distilling and aging, both vintage and blended Armagnac brandies.
