Another great cognac from the Aubineau cellars. Let it breathe in the tulip glass for 25 minutes at least. This aeration process opens new dimensions for the nose as well as mouth. Higher alcohol content prevents it from radical oxidation. Aged for 52 years - pretty much for a cognac from Fins B...
Hidden gem
Higher alcohol content is great for me. This cognac screams for half an hour aeration - being older than 60 years. Bottle itself is modest, but well suited for such a cognac. Honestly I prefer this style of bottling comparing to the fancy overmarketed carafs with not so well aged content.
Stunning armagnac
Very complex palette of smell and taste. As it is a 28 year old armagnac, do not forget to let it breath in your tulip glass for a quarter of an hour (one year of maturation / 30 seconds of aeration). You will be surprised how the smell and taste evolve after this. I usually do this with my cogna...
