Description
Peyrat Apteekkarin VSOP Cognac
Aged in casts for at least four years, this relatively young Cognac has made excellent use of its aging revealing a round fruitiness and well-defined power. Immediately catching the eye with a bold, brilliant gold colour, its finish lives up to its introduction. Straightforward and yet enticingly surprising, it’s the perfect choice for those that enjoy a fruity finesse of their Cognac.
Apteekkarin is a unique concept, recalling memories of a time when Cognac was distributed through a network of Finnish pharmacies during the years of prohibition in this Nordic country. Reviving this name is a journey to the past for some and a source of surprise for others. Produced by a Cognac house renowned for single-vineyard Cognac’s since the early 1900s, it is one of the only establishments offering this unique concept. Thanks to this rich sense of history and expertise, excellent Cognac’s like the Apteekkarin are both a rare and memorable choice.
Presentation of the bottle
Bottled with tradition in mind, the Apteekkarin is displayed in a dark bottle with a simplistic shape. A bold white label, complements the black casing to create a display that immediately captures the eye. Further adhering to eye-catching elements, the VSOP label is written in a striking serif red type to clearly convey the contents inside. Offering a sense of mystery, the bottle’s minimalism purposely leaves you wondering. A tempting invitation to taste what’s inside.
How to enjoy
VSOP Cognacs are typically served alongside coffee or as digestifs at room temperature. Sip slowly to fully appreciate the tasting journey that this Cognac is desperate to take you on.
