Description
Lhéraud Six VS Crate Terre & Bois: a Charming Parcel of Cognac
Presented as a case of six bottles, this 100% Petite Champagne Cognac has been distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes using an old-fashioned direct-fire still. The Lhéraud Six VS Crate Terre & Bois has been aged in new Limousin oak for a minimum of three years, making this slightly older than the legal minimum required for a VS Cognac. Like all Lhéraud Cognacs, this expression has been produced entirely from grapes grown on the family's own estate.
Dedicated to keeping the family in control of the business, the distilling has been undertaken by Laurent Lhéraud, while his mother Mme. Lhéraud takes care of the packaging and his father Guy works on the marketing and export side.
Presentation of the Parcel
An unusual and fun way to package Cognac, this crate of six bottles has a wonderful antique feel. The open-sided wooden crate allows you to look at the bottles from every angle, making it a great presentation piece. The bottles themselves look equally classic, with a striking hand-blown look to the glass, real cork stoppers and detailed calligraphy labels. Other brands take note: this is how to sell Cognac in bulk!
How to Enjoy Lhéraud VS Cognac
This young but unusually complex Cognac is great before dinner as well as after. Serve neat in tulip glasses at room temperature as a digestif, or over ice as an aperitif.
About Lheraud Cognac
The family Lheraud have been involved in winemaking and cognac production for hundreds of years, but it was only in 1970 that exportation and promotion really began in earnest. Now producing not only cognac, but Pineau des Charentes and Armagnac as well, Lheraud exports its wares worldwide – and continues to expand into more countries on a yearly basis. Today’s owners – Andrée and Guy Lheraud – concentrate on producing Cognac Lheraud strictly on a traditional basis, and continue to work tirelessly to introduce their products to more countries and communities throughout the world.
