This blend of over 40 eaux-de-vie from the four premier growing regions of Cognac is a collaboration with the NBA. The Hennessy VS Gold Limited Edition Cognac features a beautiful golden color with notes of sweet fruit and nuts, softened by a hint of vanilla in the finish. The average age of the eaux-de-vie in this blend is between two and a half and to five years old, significantly more than the minimum required by law.
Hennessy VS is famous for its curved bottle, tall neck and classic label. Seen in the hands of celebrities far and wide, by now it’s one of the most recognizable bottles worldwide. This limited edition is perfect for gifting.
While this is a great VS Cognac to drink over ice in a tumbler glass, its floral and fruity palate is complemented perfectly in a mixed drink. For the launch event, Hennessy combined this VS with a range of flavors to create unique cocktails - think berries, mint leaves and ginger beer. Maison Hennessy is the largest cognac producer in the world, founded in 1765 in the town of Cognac by Richard Hennessy, an Irish military officer in the service of Louis XV. Eight generations of the Hennessy family have run the house ever since, blended by seven consecutive Master Blenders from the Fillioux family. Part of LVMH since 1987, Hennessy accounts for roughly 40 percent of all cognac produced worldwide.
