First time using Cognac Expert's standard to judge. FYI, if based on Whisky Base's standard that I'm used to, this bottle would be a solid 92.
Leave some time for it to breathe and develop. While writing this review, it has been opened & parafilmed for 3 months. Patience is definitely necessary and worth it. I believe it will get even better in the future.

Nose: dominated by tangy and zingy tropical fruits: papaya, mango, and passion fruit, almost mouth-watering. Accompanied by dried fruit and oaky tones from Rancio, plus traces of spices such as ginger and cinnamon.
Palate: a concord of nutty, oaky, and tropical fruity flavors mentioned above, which adds quite a bit of complexity.
Body: light to medium, but enough to support a relatively balanced expression of its complexity.
Finish: a mild sweetness with smooth nutty & oaky tones, which renders a gentle fade-out that lingers for a while.
