About Domaine de Château Guynot
Situated between Saintes, a Gallic-Roman village and Royan, is the Domaine de Chateau Guynot, the former home of the Marquis de Monconseil. The history of this award-winning Cognac house is still very much prevalent - the cooling room which dates back to the eighteenth century, stands at the heart of the domain in a wooded park. In one of the four main Cognac terroirs, they grow Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes for their high-quality bottles of Cognac.
