Héritage: A Gift Of Time
Paul Giraud Héritage is the oldest Cognac produced by the estate, having been aged for around 60 years in Limousin oak casks in the family’s humid cellars. This is an exceptionally mature Cognac, the exquisite flavor and incredibly persistent aftertaste of which is a testament to the time gifted to the spirit, it is an elite drink for true connoisseurs.
Héritage has been made using Ugni Blanc grapes grown exclusively on the family’s 35 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Grande Champagne. The Giraud Cognac House has become renowned for not only its outstanding single year Cognacs, which are considered to be the best representation of Grande Champagne, but also for its traditional production methods. The grapes are all harvested by hand, meticulously distilled in classic copper pot stills and contain no chemicals, pesticides or colouring additives, ensuring the authentic flavor of the eaux-de-vie is preserved. As a result, Giraud has received considerable recognition for the unique features of its Cognacs - superior quality, incredibly smooth taste, rich aroma and outstanding elegance.

Losing myself in Heritage Cognac
A very smooth lingering taste. A warm blow of spirit swiftly followed by the plum, caramel and lovely vanilla tones. Not wanting to wax too lyrical but this is a lovely drink to lose yourself in, it makes you think about what you are tasting and focus on a "me" moment. So wonderful this is my second...
About Paul Giraud
COGNAC PAUL GIRAUD & Fils is a family-owned estate located in Bouteville, a small village in the heart of Grande Champagne, the premier cru of Cognac. The estate has been passed down from father to son since 1635. Paul Jean Giraud, born in 1952, is the 10th generation to lead the domain. In 1975, Paul Jean and his father founded Cognac Paul Giraud, and the brand was established in 1976 with the beginning of bottling. For five years, Paul Jean developed his sales in France before beginning to export in 1980. Currently, their cognacs are distributed selectively in France, in fine grocery stores, wine shops, and restaurants, and are exported to more than 35 countries around the world. In continuation and transmission, Paul, son of Paul Jean (11th generation), works alongside his father. They share the same passion and have a common vision for the sustainability of their know-how.
