A well-aged Cognac like De Charville XXO deserves your utmost attention and enjoyment when tasting. Pour into a tulip glass as the long neck of this type of glass will allow the patchwork of aromas to develop beautifully in the glass. Allow the Cognac to breathe in the glass for up to 10 minutes before tasting. Drinking it neat is advised, however adding a few ice cubes allows you to alter the tasting experience slightly.
