Description

Libertine Absinthe Amer is produced by the distillery Paul Devoille. Already in 1859, this absinthe was produced there in Fougerolles, where this distillery is located. Entirely according to these old recipes, Libertine Amer contains, among other things: Lesser anise, star anise, fennel, coriander, lemon balm, licorice, hyssop and, of course, wormwood. The yellowish color here is not produced by artificial additives, but is purely natural. At the Absinthiades 2002 in Pontarlier, Libertine Amer was awarded the bronze medal, making it one of the best varieties in France. Here we have now the latest creation from the house of Devoille. It is also the strongest absinthe from the 3 previous varieties. Due to the tart aftertaste, we also recommend 2 sugar cubes in the preparation. Allegedly, this Libertine Amer absinthe creation contains about 30 mg / kg thujone.
