Description
Courvoisier Mizunara 2023 Edition Cognac
The Courvoisier Mizunara 2023 Edition Blend represents a groundbreaking collaboration between Courvoisier's Chief Blender Thibaut Hontanx and House of Suntory’s Shinji Fukuyo. This unique cognac, a blend of Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Borderies, undergoes traditional aging in French oak barrels for over a decade before a final maturation in rare Japanese Mizunara oak barrels. The result is a harmonious and aromatic cognac that marries the best of both worlds.
Presentation of the bottle
The presentation of the Mizunara 2023 Edition Blend bottle is a masterpiece in itself. Its design allows the golden mahogany color of the liquid to radiate brilliantly. The bottle and case are adorned with a gold metal cutout of the Mizunara tree, symbolizing the blend's uniqueness. The neck of the bottle proudly displays the signatures of the master blenders, emphasizing the craftsmanship and collaboration that went into creating this edition.
How to drink
For the ultimate tasting experience, Courvoisier Mizunara 2023 Edition Blend is best enjoyed neat. Allow yourself to be transported by its complex aromas and flavors.
About Courvoisier Cognac
Courvoisier is amongst the four leading Cognac houses in the world - also known as the 'Big Four'. Legend has it that the emperor Napoléon himself chose Courvoisier as his preferred Cognac, therefore Courvoisier brandy is often referred to as “The Cognac of Napoleon”. The company dates back to 1828 and since has its headquarters in the town of Jarnac. With prestigious bottles such as Courvoisier Napoléon or Josephine, the Cognac house is at the top of the luxury spirits market. The Courvoisier VS, VSOP, and Rose Liqueur are also very popular. The drink is strongly ingrained in US Hip Hop culture with Busta Rhymes and P Diddy dedicating the song “Pass the Courvoisier” to the traditional brand.
