Description
Pierre de Segonzac Rhino VSOP Cognac
Pierre de Segonzac Rhino VSOP is an exclusive limited-edition Cognac that comes with a secret Rhino EP to listen to while tasting. Innovation in its purest form is the best way to describe this vibrant expression which reveals aromas of apricot and passionfruit entwined with soft, sweet notes of vanilla and honey. A Grande Champagne offering of premium quality that has spent 7 years aging in the humid cellars of Segonzac.
With just 100 bottles created, it’s one of a kind - if you buy the Cognac, you also receive a secret EP to listen to. Created in collaboration with contemporary French artist Rhino, the music has been curated to provide the perfect drinking ambience and setting to enjoy this Cognac within. A unique product concept that injects a touch of contemporary lifestyle to a beverage dripping in tradition and history. Fittingly, the names of the four tracks on the album are Aubum, Cellars, Limestone and Ugni Blanc.

Presentation of the bottle
A stylish and modern wide-set decanter with a cool and contemporary label to match. The graphics for the bottle were created by the young Charentais graphic designer, Luc René Loumeau, who as to be expected is also a Cognac enthusiast. Scribbled on the front of the bottle, the illustration of a rhino’s head and the Rhino logo, which forms a piece of artwork in its own right. The brilliant, bold color of the Cognac is accentuated through features of the decanter including the deep amber cork bottle stopper and Cognac colors seen on the label too.
How to enjoy
VSOP Cognacs like this one combine beautifully when mixed with tonic water and ice. Likewise, this VSOP can be used as the base spirit in your favourite cocktails. Why not mix up an Old Fashioned? Alternatively, appreciate Rhino VSOP in its purest form - neat and at room temperature. Pair with a fine cigar to take the tasting up a notch while listening to the EP dedicated to Cognac and the pleasurable art of a good tasting.
About Pierre De Segonzac Cognac
This Cognac house was founded by Pierre de Segonzac. Pierre came from a traditional family of bouilleur de cru (a Cognac maker who distils only its own harvest) who settled in Segonzac, in the heart of the Grande Champagne growth area Cognac (Cognac's 1st Cru) ever since 1702. The portrait of Pierre is rather fittingly used as the company's logo, but today, Pierre's grandson Pablo Ferrand runs the family estate vineyards in La Nérolle, Segonzac. The family still distils its wine, ages its eau-de-vie with the same care and tradition as in the old days. Christian, Pablo's father is in charge of customer service and distribution - all over the world. Pierre would have surely been very proud to see the revival of his cherished brand and how it runs today.
