Description

Malternative Belgium & Asta Morris Les Bons-Vivants LBV2 Cognac

A new project between 2 good friends and professional bon vivants. Bert Bruyneel (Asta Morris) and Pieter Knapen thought the time was right to start an interprovincial collaboration. A new label under which they will release a few times a year a cognac that will become available to their collective network of bon vivants.

Introducing the Malternative Belgium & Asta Morris Les Bons Vivants Lot N°73, a truly exceptional cognac that is as unique as it is delicious. Crafted with care and expertise by the passionate team at Malternative Belgium and Asta Morris, this cognac is the result of a painstaking selection process that has resulted in a truly outstanding expression of the petite champagne terroir.

This cask comes from the estate of André Bertandeau, a winemaker and winegrower in Salignac-Sur-Charente who enjoyed a lot of respect in the region. During World War II, André was deported to Germany for 2 years for forced labor and was liberated by the Russians. He continued to serve the community in support of families who lost loved ones during the war, and donated his profits to charities throughout his professional career. In December 2016, André passed away, and his vineyards and stock were auctioned off, with the proceeds going to charities such as Doctors Without Borders.

Not only does the Malternative Belgium & Asta Morris Les Bons Vivants Lot N°73 have a captivating story behind it, but it is also a top-quality petite champagne cognac that is truly exceptional. With only 492 bottles available, this limited edition cognac is a true rarity that is sure to impress even the most discerning cognac enthusiasts. Each bottle is presented in a beautiful package that showcases the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail that has gone into every aspect of this exceptional cognac.

In summary, the Malternative Belgium & Asta Morris Les Bons Vivants Lot N°73 is a unique and exceptional cognac that showcases the very best of the petite champagne terroir. With its captivating story and outstanding quality, this limited edition cognac is a must-have for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.
