La Recession
La Récession
A Cognac vs. The Inflation
Minimal Presentation - Maximum Liquid.
In this period of global economic uncertainty, with consumer prices remaining high, ever-present inflation and tension in global markets, our high-quality Cognac bottle stands out as a symbol of resilience: We sourced our liquid from a non-brand supplier in the Cognac region. By doing so, we went around paying brand premiums, focusing instead on the pure quality of the Cognac itself.
Following tasting and selection, the bottle was quickly integrated into Cognac Expert with only the most essential product details. The label, crafted in just a few short minutes, effectively sidesteps the need for costly professional design services. We repurposed existing photography, negating the need for an expensive new photoshoot, and we pared down marketing efforts to the strict minimum.
This Cognac, yet to be bottled, stands ready for dispatch, underscoring our agility in navigating this unstable market. This approach significantly trims overheads.
La Récession No. 2 quote simply offers consumers an old Borderies Cognac in a bottle, devoid of any unnecessary organizational expense, advertising or costly production & packaging. It's a high-quality product presented to you in the simplest possible manner: everything you need and nothing you don't.
Please note: This is a pre-sale. We only produce what we sell. Pre-sale lasts until March 18. Bottles will be produced afterwards. Shipping in April.

Dates, light runny maple syrup, rhododendron honey with its delicate woodsy note.
A clean and pure - almost naked - Cognac.

La Récession Cognac- a very nice XO
Light amber colour with orange reflexes. Nice nose on dried, sweet, candied orange peels, vanilla, honey and liquorice. The palate is rich on candied fruits (oranges, apricots), honey and vanilla with well balanced alcohol. The finish is medium to long on juicy, sweet fruits.
