This spirit displays an eye-catching amber color. The aroma is crisp, filled with scents of walnut, licorice, clove, cocoa, gingerbread, honey, nutmeg, and white pepper. There are plenty of warming spices to go around. On the palate, the tannins are smooth, with dominant flavors of rancio, almonds, and undergrowth. To say it has a long finish is an understatement.
