Pasquet Symphonie des Terroirs N°1 Cognac
Introducing Pasquet Symphonie des Terroirs N°1 Cognac, a unique masterpiece and the very first Appellation Cognac Contrôlée from the distinguished house of Pasquet. This exquisite spirit is a tribute to an ambitious project initiated by Jean-Luc Pasquet and his fellow Vigneron Indépendant colleagues in the 1990s, in which Jean-Luc acted as the master blender.
The conception of this noteworthy Cognac has a captivating backstory. Two years ago, Jean-Luc gifted a case of the original project's yield, which sparked the inspiration to create a cognac honoring that collective initiative. To replicate that experience, Pasquet sourced eaux de vie from the same revered crus - Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois. Through meticulous work and unwavering dedication, Pasquet has crafted this blend, resulting in their first multicrus Cognac.
Named "Confluences : Symphonie des Terroirs N°1," the Cognac stands as a testament to the producers' group led by Jean-Luc Pasquet in the late 1990s. This name reflects the union of various terroirs, each contributing its unique notes to the symphony of flavors.
Boasting an impressive average age of 31 years, as signified by the batch number L.31Y, this Cognac exemplifies fine aging. With only 534 bottles available, each 500ml bottle of Pasquet Symphonie des Terroirs N°1 Cognac is a rare find. Packaged at an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 50.6%, it promises a robust, full-bodied experience.
Pasquet Symphonie des Terroirs N°1 is a Cognac shaped by a rich blend of history, dedication, and artisanal craftsmanship. Taste the essence of time-honored tradition and join in the symphony of terroirs.

Great fun if a little unruly
Big, punchy, fruity and exciting on the nose. Floral notes as well, but effervescent on the palate with intensely spiced fruit dominating. The strength gives the spice an extra kick on the finish. Tobacco and leather come through towards the end. Great cognac if a little unruly. Worth buying in my...
Symphonie des Terroirs N°1 de J. L. Pasquet
Deep golden colour with copper reflexes. On the nose a complex mix of oranges, orange peels, orange blossoms, honey and other fine floral nuances., The palate is full bodied with a lot of dried oranges , orange zests, honey, savoury pastry , blond tobacco, fresh leather, spices and fine oak. The...
Rather dry, but a very nice multi cru blend
Some fruit and citrus on the nose initially, but neither dominating. As it opens, the fruit comes forward more and is quite lovely. This is full-bodied in the mouth, and the palate starts rather semi-dry, before finishing long and dry with nice warming spice. This will not be for everyone, but...
With water: a little rounder
This one's said to be the first ever 'cognac' by the house Pasquet. They mean it is their first blend, and neither a single-estate nor even a single-cru, as there is some Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Bons Bois inside. The code might suggest that the youngest component was 31 years...
First multi cru blend
This cognac has a nice dark color, it is rich on the nose with wood, citrus and some chocolate as the the main tones. In mouth it is both fruity and woody and with some spices. It is very different from most other cognacs from Pasquet. I think it lacks some clear character, but also that it will become...
О Pasquet Cognac
Certified organic Cognac house Pasquet perfectly strikes the balance between the warmth of family tradition and innovative savoir-faire. In order to revive a plot of vines during the 1990s, the Pasquet family reached deep into their ancestral history to rediscover its organic farming methods. It was here that they found a beautiful equilibrium not only in the ecosystem of their vines, but also in the Cognacs themselves. Since being awarded ‘Agriculture Biologique’ status in 1998, they haven’t looked back, continuing to craft small-batch Cognacs that epitomize natural beauty and balance. With versatile ranges such as ‘L’Organic’ and ‘Esprit de la Famille,’ the Pasquet family ensures that every step of production respects the environment, resulting in a very special collection of Cognacs.
