A VSOP Cognac: Part of the Deau Collection
Introducing the deep and mature Deau Collection VSOP Cognac, presented in a traditional tasting bottle. Distilled following traditional methods of Cognac savoir-faire, this Very Superior Old Pale Cognac is assembled with eaux-de-vie from the finest terroirs of the Cognac region, resting for in French oak before it reaches optimal maturity for blending.
The VSOP is typically aged for at least 4 years, but some parts of the blend are usually older.
Distilled in the Moisans Distillery, it respects the traditional method of the Charentais still. The vineyards overlook the Charente River, and the distillery is home to 12 copper pot stills. They own over 2000 barrels of Cognac to select and blend. Their balance between time, elegance and the utmost care is part of their tribute to Louis Deau.
This Deau Cognac VSOP from the Moisans Distillery comes from a mastered elaboration of eaux-de-vie, distilled according to the traditional method of the Charentais still, and crafted with Ugni Blanc grapes.
