To celebrate Jean Phillippe Bergier’s three decades as Master Blender, this Norwegian Cognac house present their latest expression, the Bache Gabrielsen Cercle 30 Years Cognac.
Cercle is a stunning blend of Cognacs carefully selected from each of the estates grown by local winegrowers; all of which have all been trusted partners of Bache Gabrielsen over the years. Thanks to Bergier, the Cognac house has forged lifelong relationships with each producer to create their bottles.
Bergier himself says that it is the winegrowers themselves and their daily commitment that has garnered his passion for the world of Cognac.
Cercle is a unique bottling, blending Cognacs from trusted partners over the past 30 years. In fact, the winegrowers involved produce and distill their own wine entirely.
On September 10 2019, the anniversary of ‘Les Rencontres’ was celebrated by the House and its network of winegrowers and brokers.
This is a strictly limited edition Cognac, with only 1000 bottles available.

To honor each of the winegrowers, the name of each is engraved into the Cercle bottle.
Bache-Gabrielsen is a medium-sized family Cognac house with an international history. The company was created in 1905, and so it celebrated its 100th anniversary in the last few years. With its clean design, Cognac Bache-Gabrielsen takes an important position in the Cognac market, exporting mainly to Scandinavian countries. Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen, the fourth generation at the head of the company, is certainly aware that the Cognac industry is undergoing changes, with the international market being heavily developed and marketing strategies refined to cater for a younger, more fashionable consumer base.
