Godet Cocktail No. 1 Cognac Exclusive: Made for mixologists
As part of its new No. 1 range, Godet is merging modern mixology with 15 generations of Cognac savoir-faire in its Godet Cognac No. 1 Cocktail Exclusive, designed to create the perfect Cognac-based cocktail. This beautiful blend of eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois and Bons Bois - has spent a minimum of three years aging in Limousin oak barrels, producing a light and fresh Cognac base for your next cocktail. It is a solid VS Cognac.
With the ascension of mixology in recent years, Godet’s new range aims to create attractive, uncomplicated Cognacs to produce the ideal spirit base for your favorite cocktails. The Godet Cognac No. 1 Cocktail Exclusive’s intense, floral notes make it the quintessential ingredient in a classic Sidecar cocktail, delicately balancing with the citrusy flavors of lemon juice and orange liqueur - the perfect combination for any mixologist.
Like a chef combining ingredients on a plate, centred around an aged chateaubriand or duck confit, a mixologist applied this same passion and logic when creating a cocktail, balancing and contrasting flavors to produce that simple yet sublime sensory experience, Godet have produced a Cognac that boasts a distinct floral and fresh character, perfectly enjoyable neat, yet can be the central part of a cocktail, enhanced and elevated when blended with other ingredients.
Its gentle aging process means a less pronounced alcohol reduction, which packs a punch in classic and innovative cocktails alike. An assembly of Fins Bois and Bon Bois, this low-tannin, 100% naturally-colored Cognac leaves a warm and lasting finish on the palate, with earthy, floral tones and a hint of herbs.
Ran by the 15th generation of a Cognac dynasty; Jean Edouard, Maxime and Cyril Godet have taken the heritage, history and craftsmanship of their ancestors before them and ran with it, elevating the estate by creating a legendary and luxurious brand with 500 years of savoir-faire under their belt.
Always bold in their business, the Godet family are now merging their heritage with modernity, and the No. 1 range is shaking up the industry by introducing Cognacs specifically developed for mixology and the art of cocktail making. When shaken or stirred into any cocktail, the fresh aroma and lightly acidic tones of Godet Cognac No. 1 Cocktail Exclusive elevate the various components whilst still emphasizing the tradition and craftsmanship of the Maison.
In this modern and innovating new vision, this product will surely be a permanent fixture on the shelves of any trendy cocktail bar, and its use in cocktails is gaining momentum already...

O Godet Cognac
