The Master Blender's Selection No. 4: a Unique Release From Hennessy

This rich, single-batch Cognac is the fourth release in the Master Blender’s Selection series, personally crafted by 8th-generation Master Blender Renaud Fillioux de Gironde. The Hennessy Master Blender’s Selection Nº 4 has been matured in red oak, which means the casks used for the blend have previously held Cognac and are of a significant age - signified by their dark, reddish color.

The House of Hennessy specializes in distilling their eaux-de-vie without the lees for a smooth, clean palate and utilize humid cellars for a steady maturation. Combined with the qualities of aged red oak, the result is a Cognac bursting with fresh aromas and sumptuous, deep fruit flavors that linger on the palate. 

Each new Master’s Blender Selection is as highly anticipated as the last, showing the skill that Renaud Fillioux de Gironde puts into his choice of casks. With complete freedom to experiment with new blends, he is able to create singular batches that will never be repeated. Once they’re gone - they’re gone for good. 

Presentation of the Bottle

Like its predecessors, the Hennessy Master Blender's Selection No. 4 comes in a modern bottle featuring a squared-off neck, wooden cork stopper and a white label with blue text. The cork is sealed with a paper seal of authenticity, carrying the Master Blender’s signature as well as batch and bottle number. 

How to Enjoy Hennessy Master Blender's Selection No. 4

This one-off limited edition is one to spend your time with. Pour into a tulip glass and let it rest for 30 seconds to allow the fruit aromas to fully develop before taking a sip. If you wish, you may lower the alcohol volume slightly with the addition of a few drops of mineral water. This modern blend is also perfect for mixing in craft cocktails.
