La Spiritueuse L'Alambic Fraganced Candle: A Charentais Dream

Like a fragrant initiation, the L'Alambic scented candle opens the doors of a Cognac distillery during the distillation season.

Produced without CMR substances (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or Reprotoxic) and without parabens, sulphates, phthalates or colouring agents, this candle fragrance is inspired by winter, where time has no hold. This is the moment when the Charentais alembic still, glimmering in copper, comes into action. The distiller prepares for the double distillation, an essential process to create precious Cognac. Wood, red brick and fire warm the atmosphere as the aromas of new eau-de-vie fill the air with its sweet and fruity notes.

Here, the attention has been focused on the concentration of pure aromas without the alcohol note – which flood through the region of Cognac from October to March each year.

The Packaging

With a pure and minimalist design, the glass container simply focuses on the essential: the olfactory tones of the candle itself – a real nod to the world of spirits. Its generous, round curves are reminiscent of tasting glassware used during a Cognac tasting. Of mineral and natural origin, the high-quality wax ensures good restitution of the fragrances.

Each candle is hand-cast by the Master Waxmaker at La Spiritueuse in Pays de Grasse, France 

The 100% cotton wick ensures optimal burning, giving 60-65 hours of light.
