描述
Fanny Fougerat Le Colibri De Fanny Pineau
Fanny Fougerat Le Colibri de Fanny Pineau is produced from Merlot grapes of the Fins Bois Cognac terroir. Having undergone its fortified wine process with the addition of Cognac at 71% it’s an intensely fruity red Pineau revealing sumptuous aromas of red fruits, grenadine and strawberry. The tension of red and citrus fruits characterize this young Pineau des Charentes is a beautiful offering to share with guests.
The house of Fanny Fougerat is a relatively unheard of brand because the family’s Cognacs used to be produced and sold to big Cognac houses rather than marketed under this artisan producers own name. However, in recent years Fanny Fougerat launched her own brand with the first bottling released in November 2013. Strong values dedicated to craftsmanship, precision and finesse are at the heart of the brand as Fanny Fougerat carries four generations of winemaking expertise with pride.
Presentation of the bottle
Bottled in a contemporary heavy-based bottle, the pale pink eaux-de-vie contained inside glimmers with a stunning robe that catches the eye. The bottle’s modern aesthetic presents a stylish looking pineau that is sure to sit with elegance alongside other bottles in a spirits collection. Stamped on the front of the bottle is a beautiful sketch of a pink hummingbird “le colibri in French” – an ode to the bottle’s name and branding.
How to enjoy
Serve Fanny Fougerat Le Colibri de Fanny Pineau as a fresh aperitif, either on the rocks or topped up with cold tonic water. A delicious tipple to enjoy when paired with a rich and velvety chocolate dessert.
