The Héritage René Rivière Vielle Reserve 30 Years Cognac has been matured for over three decades in Limousin oak before being stored in glass demijohns, waiting to be bottled. This well-aged expression is one that will fill the connoisseur with intrigue: the clay and limestone soil of the Borderies terroir give the eaux-de-vie produced here a distinct character that is peculiar to the region.  

The René Rivière estate has been around the Borderies in various forms since 1886, holding over 200 years of history. What makes Héritage René Rivière so unusual (and so desirable) is that the land is no longer used to cultivate or harvest grapes to distill eaux-de-vie. Each and every Cognac produced has therefore been extracted from vintage demijohns.

Every René Rivière Cognac you purchase is a limited edition, a truly unique drinking experience that would take decades to recreate.

The tall, elegant bottle features a slim profile and a red and gold label. Each bottle is individually numbered with a tag tied around the neck.
