Описание
Godet Grande-Champagne Extra Vieille
The Grande Champagne Extra Vieille Cognac from the house of Godet is an exclusive, extra old Cognac that has been crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes grown across the chalky hills of the Grande Champagne terroir. This extra old blend is a limited edition that is made up of a very mature blend of eaux-de-vie, the oldest component is aged 40 years old. It is a rich Cognac with plenty to show off about, and comprises the best elements of fine Premier Cru produce, such as its fruity finish.
Renowned for the floral and fruity palette of their Cognacs, Maison Godet know the true value of time and worth of a well-aged Cognac, and use time wisely in order to build complexity in their Cognacs. Crafting Cognac deep with history, expertise and generations of know-how, the house of Godet are the only brand to under-go the aging process by the Atlantic Ocean, which gives their Cognacs remarkable fullness and precision like no other.
Presentation of the Bottle
Decanted in an elegant and simple bottle design, Godet Grande-Champagne Extra Vieille Cognac proves that, whilst presentation is important - it’s what’s on the inside that counts the most. Nevertheless, with its slim neck and smooth curves, this bottle will stand tall on the brandy shelf. Arriving in a bespoke wooden case, allows this Cognac to serve as a wonderful gift for someone who lavishes the finer things in life.
How to enjoy
To truly appreciate this Cognac, we recommend sipping it neat from a tulip glass at room temperature. Allow the Cognac to stand for a few minutes and for the aromas to open up even more with time. A small dash of ice can be added if desired, as this will develop the tasting experience ever so slightly too.
О Godet Cognac
The house of Godet has been run by the family for 14 generations. It is a perfect example of a cognac house that deeply believes in the tradition of this spirit and its origins. At the same time, Godet manages to move with modern times, having recently created a cognac from a grape that is almost extinct in the cognac industry: Folle Blache. This cognac is called "Antarctica Godet" and was inspired by a 2-month sailing trip to the South Pole.
