Made with a selection of eaux-de-vie from the finest region of the Cognac; Grande Champagne, the Pierre Ferrand Abel boasts an excellent expression. Produced from blends that have been chosen specifically for their exquisite characteristics, it is a remarkable concoction of excellence. A bold and memorable choice, the lengthy finish creates a lingering that will last.
Created from a Cognac house located in the centre of the “golden triangle” of the Grande Champagne region, the unique selection in this expression has guaranteed excellence. Specialising in old and very old Cognac, the estate of Cognac Pierre Ferrand aged the Abel for 45 years in the finest Limousin oak barrels. Selected and aged by a process of expertise, this is a Cognac of supreme standard.
Bold in blue, this Cognac is housed in a traditional bottle decorated with a sophisticated silver swirl. A wooden cork top conveys its age remarkably. Showing its timeless flair, its style is harmoniously balanced with tradition and contemporary chic.
Due to its exceptional finish, the Abel is best enjoyed on its own to allow the punch of the palate to be fully savoured. Thanks to an impressive finish of up to 15 minutes, it is best sipped slowly to offer space for the full depth to embody.
The estate of Cognac Pierre Ferrand is located directly in the ‘golden triangle’ of the Grande Champagne region of Cognac and is owned and run by Alexandre Gabriel. Specializing in old and very old cognacs, Pierre Ferrand is only bottled and shipped to order. They have also developed some unique production techniques of their own that are used in the aging and distillation process and have introduced innovative ways of collaborating with smaller scale producers. Both the vineyards and company headquarters are located in the 18th century Château de Bonbonnet at Ars, just 10 kms from the town center of Cognac itself.
