This Cognac features a careful blend of eaux-de-vie from the most famous production area of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne. Rich with oak and vanilla notes, it’s clearly evident that Prulho Eclat Extra Cognac has been matured in oak barrels from the Limousin. Aged for a minimum of ten years, this is an XO-quality expression that is sure to impress anyone with its wonderful balance of fruit, spice and floral notes.
Second-generation owner, Robert Prulho, and his son Richard have dedicated their lives to pursuing their passion for excellent Cognac. Their hard work has certainly paid off, walking away with numerous awards, including gold medals from the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the Citadelles du Vins. Without a doubt, they benefit from their in-depth knowledge of distilling equipment - they come from a family of stillmakers whose copper stills are used by Cognac producers all over the region.
With the knowledge that has accumulated over generations about the importance of perfect distillation, the ripening process and flawless blending, the Prulho family are sure to continue going from strength to strength.
The sturdy shape is boldly complemented by a metallic gold wrap all over the glass, overlaid with an oversized label bearing the Prulho emblem. Sealed with a metal cage over the cork, this is a distinct bottle that perfectly encapsulates the unique liquid contained within.
Providing a round, complex and powerful tasting experience, this is a Cognac that is equally great on its own as it is in a mixed drink. Serve neat in tulip glasses at room temperature as a digestif, or try pairing with a cigar for a truly indulgent moment.
