Leyrat Passion Limited Edition Cognac

A Limited Edition Fins Bois Vintage from the Chez Maillard Estate

Introducing the Leyrat Limited Edition Passion Cognac, straight from the Domaine at Chez Maillard. This particular Hors d'Age Cognac comes from the Fins Bois terroir, and offers an incredible array of rich eaux-de-vie to create a wonderful collector’s item in the form of three decanters - one large one with a crystal stopper, and two smaller ones for sharing.

The eaux-de-vie is fine and elegant, with astonishing quality. As with all Cognacs from Leyrat, it is a single estate Cognac with a history that extends back decades. Their heritage is rich with tradition, and the Leyrat Passion Cognac follows regional tradition. After distillation, it was placed into French oak barrels several decades ago. To reach full maturity, it has been aged twice.

After a long stay in dry cellars, it received character and aromatic complexity. It then spent many years in the humid cellars of the family estate to give it flexibility, roundness and freshness. This particular vineyard is emblematic of Leyrat Cognac, and is made up of 90 hectares of vines. Situated on top of a hill which receives plenty of sunshine, it is made up of limestone.

Presentation of the decanter

Each one of these three precious decanters has been numbered, and is made of crystal. There are two small bottles for sharing, embodying the art of living and enjoying with others. Presented in a stunning wooden fold-out presentation box, this is a beautiful collector's item. In fact, Leyrat is recognised by some of the greatest restaurants in the world.
