The Martell Cordon Bleu XO Intense Heat Limited Edition Cognac has been crafted as a wonderful twist on the much-loved Cordon Bleu expression. Produced specifically for the 2017 Lunar New Year, this release represents the first Cognac finished in heat-toasted wooden casks at the House of Martell. The result is a blend of wonderfully woody, nutty and spicy aromas, drifting into a luxurious palate.

Only produced in a limited quantity, this Cordon Bleu edition is presented with a dark blue label embellished with copper-red details, representing the fiery charring of the barrels. A great Cognac, and one that will be well-sought after, both by collectors and those who are lovers of the iconic Martell Cordon Bleu.

Presentation of the Bottle

The bottle's elegant profile is typical of Martell, with its gently curved neck decorated with a ribbon. The navy blue label have been stamped with Jean Martell’s signature, while the neck of the bottle bears a blue medallion commemorating the year 1715 - the birth of the House of Martell. It comes in a matching presentation box, decorated with the imagery of a smouldering cask. 

How to Enjoy Martell Cordon Bleu XO Intense Heat Cognac 

This expressive Cognac is best enjoyed neat and at room temperature. It also makes an excellent pairing for fine cigars.
