Serve At The Knight’s Table: The G&C Raby Cognac VSOP

This Cognac brings an extraordinary wealth of flavors to your palate, and is an honorable option both before and after dinner. Coming from the home of a knight himself, the G&C Raby VSOP Cognac is warm and fruity, with rich notes of licorice, nuts and port.

This Grande Champagne blend is far older than a regular VSOP, and is an assemblage between a Cognac aged for 6 years in oak barrels and a Cognac aged 10 years.

The maturation process has taken place in the historic cellars of the Logis de la Brée, former home to the French knight that invented the ‘Charentais’ double distillation process. Now, Gérard and Cécile Raby carry on the traditions of the land as they store precious stocks of eaux-de-vie from the Premier Cru, and produce incredible Cognacs such as this well-aged VSOP.

The Grande Champagne has millions of years of fossilization to thank for its unique soil composition. The high chalk content and rolling hills make it the perfect place for growing fine vines and even finer eaux-de-vie.

This Cognac is perfectly suited both as an aperitif and a digestif. It is rich, full-bodied and warm in the mouth.
