Pure & Rustic Echallat Single Estate 1975 Cognac

This Cognac from Bache Gabrielsen’s Pure & Rustic range is a limited edition of 1190 bottles, single estate vintage from 1975. Produced using eaux-de-vie from Ugni Blanc grapes grown exclusively on the estate of Bouilleur de Cru René Gommet in the village of Echallat, west of Jarnac in the Fins Bois region. The eaux-de-vie was distilled in 1975 and matured in Limousin oak casks for 40 years, meaning it is a Cognac of exceptional age.

The Pure & Rustic range from Bache Gabrielsen has been produced by Cellar Master Jean-Philippe Bergier in close collaboration with a number of experienced distillers across the Cognac region. The collection has a modern style to it and invites you to experience a light and fresh Cognac with rich fruitiness and associations to the rural life of the region.

Presentation of the bottle:

The bottle is of a bold and contemporary shape, reflecting the modern positioning of the Cognac. The label features the story of the Cognac House’s conception below the striking and minimalist logo and product information.

Within the Pure & Rustic series, bottles bare either blue or white labels. If the label is white, which is the case here, Bache Gabrielsen guarantees that only a limited edition has been bottled and that all bottles are numbered.
