描述

Armagnac Duc Moisans Millésime 1990

Armagnac Duc Moisans millesime 1990 is a vintage Armagnac from the vintage harvest of 1990, selected for its exceptional quality eau-de-vie. As part of the Moisan's collection, this offering underwent several long years of maturing in oak barrels and receiving the necessary attention from the Moisans Cellar Master before being bottled at its optimum tasting pleasure.

Distillerie de Moisans take pride in the artisanal process of producing quality Armagnac, Cognac and other spirits. Cellar Master Christophe Gauville is responsible for the distillation method, the aging methods, and the blending of several eaux-de-vie until, eventually, he produces a harmonious composition in line with the identity, signature and the flagship of the brand.

Armagnac is a grape brandy produced in the Gascony region of southwest France, between the Adour and Garonne rivers by the foothills of the Pyrenees, as it has been since at least the 15th century. Here, the terroir is a mixture of sand and clay, spread across rolling hills drenched in the sunshine during the long summer, resulting in dark, rich and rustic eaux-de-vie with concentrated aromas. Traditionally produced using wines made from Colombard, Baco Blanc, Folle Blanche and Ugni Blanc grapes, Armagnac is distilled in column stills rather than pot stills and distilled only once. The resulting spirit is generally of a low ABV - as low as 52% - and is then aged in oak barrels before being bottled.

Presentation of the bottle

Dressed in a classic Cognac decanter, the presentation of this Armagnac epitomizes elegance. With golden accents and the Armagnacs glimmering amber color at the forefront, the traditional swirls of the typology add an air of classic charm to an artisanal product that is dripping in history. Finished with a red wax seal and a bespoke wooden presentation case, it is a genuinely refined Armagnac worthy of its place amongst other vintage offerings at the bar.

How to enjoy

Since this is a high-quality and mature vintage offering, we suggest serving it neat at room temperature. Allow the Armagnac to stand for a few minutes before bringing the glass to your lips and embarking on a tasting journey, sip after sip.
