In my eyes the nose has little to do with Cognac. I know that the Bois ordinaires is different but this one smells more like a Grappa. Surprisingly the taste is better than the nose made me believe (prepare). Augier is a truly great cognac producer, but this one just doesn't do it, for me that is.
