Raymond Ragnaud Heritage Grande Champagne Cognac is so named for its heritage of 1906. This outstanding, character-intense Cognac is created from eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne terroir that has been aged for over 50 years. Such a prolonged aging process allows for flavors to intensify and for a prevailing rancio to emerge through tasting - the sign of a truly well-aged Cognac indeed. Overproof at 44°, this Cognac will stun with its elegance and intensity, and leave you marvelling at the impressive length of the aftertaste.

The Ragnuad family has been distilling Cognac since 1860 but didn’t adopt the brand name until 1941 when the 3rd generation owner first bottled in inherited eaux-de-vie under his name: Raymond Ragnaud. Spread across 47 hectares, the family estate mostly produces Ugni Blanc grapes, with a small part of the vineyards growing the more rare grape variety of Folle Blanche. Over the years, the artisanal craftsmanship, skills and hard work have transcended with time, as with each new generation of the family comes new innovations and top quality Cognac products.
