Conte et Filles Heritage Cognac
Conte et Filles Heritage Cognac is a Petite Champagne blend of eaux-de-vie selected from a plot in Nonaville on a southern slope renowned for its limestone, chalky soils. The eaux-de-vie has been aging in Limousin oak barrels since its distillation, making it a very old and well-matured Cognac indeed. Made from Ugni-Blanc grapes, the eaux-de-vie of this Cognac are from the reserve of the current family members grandfather, father and uncle.
Therefore, this Heritage Cognac is a product of friendship; a friendship between men who liked to work together, to learn from each other. It shows the passage of time as well as the generations of a family which follow one another in pursuit of the same passion of making quality Cognac.
Revealing fine notes of cigar boxes alongside smoky nuances of leather and prune on the nose, its aromatic strength is surprisingly gentle after the first impression, as on the palate zesty citrus notes, with dried fruits, prune and saffron emerge in harmony.
How to enjoy
Boasting such a rare bouquet on the nose, this Cognac deserves to be appreciated for all it’s worth step by step. Start by pouring the Cognac into a tulip glass, then let the delicious nectar rest for up to ten minutes. Next, take the glass to your nose and slowly inhale the evolving aromas. Pair with a 36-month-old Comté, a Roquefort cheese and sip the Cognac at your leisure. Take your time to enjoy the experience as it’s a truly divine quality offering to be savored.

Recent Winner of the Hor's d'Age CE Family tasting!
I purchased the bottle since it had won the CE family tasting of Hor's d'Age and I have to say so far I do and do not understand why it won. On the one hand it does everything well, balanced with spice and fruit (although I get more spice than fruit) and yet it doesn't seem to do anything extremely...
A new pleasant experience
This is the first time I taste any product from this producer. And I don't think it will be the last time. This cognac has a deep golden color with good tears inside the glass. It is inviting on the nose with tones of toast, citrus, and after some time darker tones like leather and light tobacco....
