Prunier Rare Vintage 1975 Grande Champagne Cognac
A beautiful Grande Champagne typical of its terroir of Saint-Même-les-Carrières, the Prunier Rare Vintage 1999 Grande Champagne Cognac is a spectacular single-year blend of the prestigious premier cru: Grande Champagne. Representing everything that makes the Grande Champagne region so great, this Cognac is a rather feminine blend that reveals all of the roundness of the 1975 harvest. Oozing elegance, finesse and exceptional quality, it is an eaux-de-vie offering smooth and soft notes of orange, gingerbread and honey.
For over 250 years, Maison Prunier have been creating unique expressions by carefully putting each product under the magnifying glass. Spanning over eleven generations, Prunier stands as one of the oldest Cognac houses in the prestigious Cognac region and has learnt how to keep its own history alive together with its identity and esteem for its products. Without forgetting the past the house of Prunier continues without respite in striving to offer the best quality products. Through their passion for the craft, each member of the family has maintained the motto: quality and respect of local traditions. Contained inside each and every bottle rests the history and hard-work of the house’s family heritage.
Presented in a traditional decanter showcasing the Cognacs very bright pale golden coloring.
With its elegant fruity nose and supple palette, try this rare vintage 1999 Cognac over ice or topped up with chilled tonic water in a wider balloon glass. The sweet and summery flavours of this eaux-de-vie are also complimented by strong cheeses, such as Roquefort and aged parmesan due to their full-bodied flavours and aromatic strength which match those of Cognac delectably.
