Growth area & soil: Petite Champagne
The Park Chai N°8 21 Year Old Cognac is an incredible opportunity to own and taste a wonderfully old Cognac from this innovative house. The creation of cellar master, Jérôme Tessendier, this is a pure Petite Champagne offering, which was aged in a single cask for - as the name suggests - 21 years before being deemed just right for consumption.
This limited edition Cognac is a a rare offering, being the content of a single barrel. And the 'Chai N°8' in the title refers to the cellar number in which the barrel was stored. For such a rare, old Cognac, this offers exceptional value for money. It's sure to be a talking point at any gathering, and would make the ideal gift for a Cognac connoisseur.
very dry / not sweet very smooth / very sweet
Golden amber with copper and gold highlights. 1st nose is fresh, honey, hint of spice, becoming more intense over time, I agree with the description, “beautiful subtlety”. Short-lived alcohol bite that immediately becomes sweet over spicy. Delicious lengthy finish.
