Michel Forgeron Folle Blanche 2013 Cognac

Like all Michel Forgeron cognacs, the Folle Blanche 2013 Cognac comes from the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious in the Cognac production area. Aged for more than 7 years in French oak barrels in the cellars of Domaine Michel Forgeron. It has been patiently reduced by adding distilled water to be offered at 47 degrees of alcohol, a good compromise between preservation of taste and aromas and lightness in the mouth.

One of the younger brands in the region, Michel Forgeron Cognac originated in 1977. It's this youthful edge that led to pioneering eco-friendly practices. The house is the first in the region to invest in solar energy in a board to create sustainable, responsible development. The Folle Blanche 2012 Cognac is an excellent example of what these considered practices can offer.

Honoring the tradition and simplicity of the Michel Forgeron house, sepia tones and swirl type offer a minimalist display. A classic wooden top finishes the showcase with effortless appeal. Representing its environmentally-friendly efforts, it portrays an earthy, clean feel. A wonderful Cognac to display.

Michel Forgeron Cognac’s uniqueness lies in its very special history, its environmental concern and of course in its quest for quality. With a relatively young history, the first cognac under the brand Michel Forgeron was produced in 1977. Their philosophy remains the same as his grandfather’s, who bought the agricultural property at the turn of the century: work better, produce better. Recently, for its hundred year anniversary, Forgeron covered one of the estate’s roofs with solar panels in order to work with sustainable energies for the cognac production.
