When the harvest proves to be an expectional one, Hine Cognac sets asides casks of eaux-de-vie specifically for vintages. The year 1976 was one such year, and the Hine 1976 Millesime Cognac is the result. Each cask has been securely stored and aged in Hine's 18th century cellars - and secured by not one, but two locks. One of the locks was owned by Hine, and the other by the Cognac authorities...

The 1976 Millesime is a very dark cognac, and one that has heightened tastes of fruit, thanks toa n exceptionally ripe harvest. A great cognac for the connoisseur, and one that was awarded the Silver Medal in the 2006 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
