Paying homage to the famous Chanel No 5 perfume, Zelia Diamant N°58 Cognac is a true delight from this artisanal house.  With a completely different ethos from most cognac houses, Zelia produce a maximum of 5,000 bottles of cognac a hear - and sell direct to the end user.  Many of these are high end restaurants with a discerning clientele.

As you can imagine, getting your hands on a bottle of Zelia Diamant N°58 Cognac can prove somewhat troublesome...!  But we're delighted (and more than a little amazed) to be able to offer a small amount through the Cognac-Expert online shop.

Each carafe is unique, and hand-created by master glass makers - making the carafe as much a work of art as the delightful cognac contained within.  Every step of the production process is overseen by the watchful eye of Christa Dulin, Zeilia Cognacs Maitre de Chai.  She also hand signs each individual carafe as proof of her final check.

The cognac is made of a blend of 58 Grande Champagne eaux-de-vies - the clue is in the name...  From start to finish, every aspect of creating the cognac has been undergone without any additives or chemicals that would go against the ethos of the house, which is to create totally organic and natural, extra-special, high end cognacs.

Every aux-de-vie within the blend is aged between 30-50 years; each allowed to evolve until just the right moment to be at the pinnacle of its prime.

And naturally, such a cognac of excellence has not gone unnoticed, being awarded the gold medal in Hong Kong in 2014 for selection of best new French spirit.
