A.E. Dor Coffret Prestige is the most exclusive Cognac available from the house of A.E. Dor and the most distinguished spirit you can have as part of your collection.

Amédée-Edouard Dor who first established the company in 1858 was not only passionate about perfecting the aging process of his Cognacs, but he was also determined to preserve them in a way that they could be enjoyed by future generations. Preservation was achieved by decanting the spirits into glass demijohns and sealing them with wax.

Fast forward to today’s age and the current generation of the Dor family were paid a visit from sommelier friends of theirs who knew Maison Dor for the prestige and richness of its Paradis cellar. Out of curiosity one of the historic demijohns was uncorked and within it lay this exceptional Grande Champagne Cognac!

Presentation of the bottle:

A.E. Dor presents all of the cognacs in its range in ornate decanters and wooden boxes, with a belief that the splendid aesthetics only enhance the pleasure of the tasting. This particularly exquisite Cognac was worthy of a tailor-made suit and so legendary crystal works DAUM, cut a crystal decanter especially for it.

The Cognac and its crystal suit lie in an exclusive “coffret” bed, crafted from burl mahogany wood in Charente.
