Honest gold with yellow highlights. Dew-sweet, fruity, complex, fresh. Mouth-filling, hints of fresh fruit, wonderful finsbois complexity. Lengthy warm comforting finish.

This is a Fins Bois blend of 1994/96. Prunier is a producer I like a lot, both their cognacs and their people is easy to like. And this is no exception. This is an exceptional XO, with so much depth. One of the best I had in years.

The nose has a sweetness to it, with fruit and possibly honey. The palate has some woodiness and floral notes, with some toffee and nuts.

The taste of pear and ginger should not appear together, but this cognac did it, which was really surprising. In fact, happiness is very simple. It's OK to drink one's favorite cognac.
