描述
The Marancheville XO Grande Champagne Cognac a blend of premier cru eaux-de-vies that have been aged for over 30 years. As one would expect from such a quality, the cognac boasts wonderful notes of rancio (a taste that only occurs through extended aging).
The house is deservedly proud of this cognac, a blend of their best barrels of cognacs that have been quietly aging over the years. Presented in a clean-lined, classy decanter, this is a cognac that takes the drinker on a tasting journey. Enjoy the aromas of candied orange, nuts, and spices, before being tantalized be a myriad of tastes on the palate. Balanced, smooth, with satisfyingly long finish, this is a cognac that both the connoiseur and novice can participate and enjoy.

A solid XO
Fruit greets the nose immediately, predominately orange and orange peel. As it opens more, some subtle spices appear, and then take over. A nice but not overly complex nose with balance. The palate leads off with the sweet fruit, followed by a bit of oak and spice in a lengthy finish. A solid...
Impressive Cognac
This is a well balanced cognac. Spice and wood come through on the nose, with hints of sweet oranges and flower. On the palate, the spice and wood come through, with a bit of caramel. It has a long finish, with balanced notes of spice, wood and fruit. Overall, this is an impressive cognac at a great...
Opulent
Red bronze with copper highlights, darker than the listing image. The first nose is floral with complex notes, some citrus and after a few minutes a little spicy. Initially spicy, but opulent, smooth, complex, Grande Champagne worthy, this is why it’s the 1st Cru. Lengthy finish.
