Tasted from a sample of this year´s Advent Calendar: Dark golden colour. On the nose oranges, dried dates, spices and some vanilla - nice. The palate is not convincing - rather thin on some fruit and spices. The finish is medium to long, alcoholic ending.

Light amber with gold highlights. 1st nose is subdued slightly spicy and citrus, time adds more fruit notes. Warm and sweet front of the mouth, the 43% is not a secret, but not obtrusive. Finishes nicely.

This is a Petite Champagne from 2002 bottled at 43%. It has a quite dark golden color coming from a long time in new casks and heavy toasting. It is quite intense on the nose, I find orange and exotic fruits, some vanilla, and some darker tones. It gives a young impression. In mouth it is a bit chaotic,...
