The delightful Hennessy Master Blender’s Selection No. 2 Cognac is a wonderful parting gift from one of the most revered cellar masters of all time – Yann Fillioux. This limited edition Cognac allowed Fillioux to utilize his full creativity, taking advantage of eaux-de-vie that were perhaps in short supply, because this honestly is a ‘never to be repeated’ Cognac. So there was no need for him to worry about having to create the same blend over a long period of time.  

It’s a truly spicy Cognac – and will appeal to those who enjoy such a taste. The eaux-de-ies were aged first in young French oak barrels before being transferred to older ones for further seasoning. The result is a Cognac that abounds in both sweetness and spices – one that is as pleasing on the nose as it is right through to the evolving finish.
