Croix Maron VS Grande Champagne
Croix Maron VS Grande Champagne is a full and light Cognac offering a unique taste with notes of vine blossom, citrus fruits and wood. This eaux-de-vie is exclusively made from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the family vineyard of 40 hectares located in Grande Champagne, Premier Cru of the Cognac appellation; a region renowned for its chalky soil, leading to high acidity and exceptional Cognac quality. The Croix Maron VS, offers outstanding quality that is young and full of vigor - as it knows how to remain both harmonious and powerful.
The Cognacs from the House of Croix Maron are artisanal Cognacs, worked with passion from the very beginning with the development of each vine, until the very end, with the corking of each bottle. Each year, each of the estate's eaux-de-vie is tasted, inventoried and given the special care required according to development.
At the Croix Maron estate, Ugni-Blanc grape vines with moderate yields are cultivated in a traditional way, therefore the work is still largely done by hand, meaning the know-how expertise of the winegrower is essential. Each year, the brand commits themselves a little more to a reasoned cultivation approach which reduces the use of phytosanitary products.
