The Tiffon VSOP Cognac is a mainly Fins Bois blend of eaux-de-vie from this high quality house that has it roots in Norway. With a history that can be traced back to 1875, today's cognacs are the creation of centuries of knowledge passed down from father to son.

This is a truly versatile VSOP - one that can be enjoyed in many different ways. Ideal neat as a digestif - or for a slightly different take drop in an ice cube or a few drops of water. It also makes a wonderful long drink with a mixer on a warm summer's day - or as a lovely addition to your favorite cocktail.

or Braastad, both are good. In my opinion, Tiffon has a more pleasant finish, it is not as alcoholic. The best way to discover the variety of aromas, exemplary for a VSOP, is with the nose. Because that's what it has in common with Braastad and that's why I have a hard time recognising a diffe...

About Tiffon Cognac

With strong ties to the Scandinavian country of Norway, the history of Cognac Tiffon dates back to 1875. Tiffon is to this day a family run business, and is based at the beautiful family home, the Chateau de Triac, just 5 kms from the town of Jarnac. The Chateau itself has a battle-scarred and convoluted history, dating back to the 11th century, which includes being razed to the ground by fires and completely demolished during the Hundred Years’ War. Today, the family grows 40 hectares of Grande Champagne and Fins Bois vines, overseen by cellar master Richard Braastad, who comes from an old cognac producers’ family.
