Matured for at least 4 years, with some of the components spending much longer in the barrel, this VSOP proves excellent value for money. The house of Remy Couillebaud prides itself in the traditional methods of creating its cognacs. With the in-depth know-how having been handed down over six generations, this is an artisan house of the highest degree. The family have been creating eaux-de-vie from the grape to the bottle since the mid-1800s - and their methods today remain almost identical to that of their forefathers. If Remy Couillebaud is a new Cognac, then the Vieille Réserve is a great place to start.
