Prunier VSOP Organic Cognac

Prunier VSOP Organic Cognac is a blend of organically produced eaux-de-vie, which have been aged for at least six years. It’s an expression that perfectly shows off the best qualities of the underrated Fins Bois terroir. The soil of this surprisingly large growing area contains smaller patches of chalk that are less porous than that which is found in other crus, producing eaux-de-vie that are full-bodied, supple and fruity. 

Experts in fine vintages, Prunier specialize in buying eaux-de-vie directly from winegrowers and distillers to age in their cellars by the Charente. This ancient Maison dates back to 1665, perfectly located in a quaint medieval house in the centre of Cognac. In the early 20th Century, the Prunier family left no descendants when Alphonse Prunier died. It was his widow who passed the company to her nephew Jean Burnez, allowing the Maison to continue as a family company and maintain their traditions.

How to Enjoy Prunier VSOP Organic Cognac

The experts at Prunier recommend that in addition to enjoying it neat, this Cognac makes a great addition to a cocktail or over ice with your favorite mixer. If you choose to drink it on its own, we recommend using a tulip glass to fully concentrate the aromas. An excellent digestif.
