History of Pasquet Cognac

In the mid-20th century, owners of Pasquet Cognac, Jean-Luc and his wife, Marie-Francoise, were tending their farm and creating their cognacs in the regular manner.  But in 1994 some of their vines began showing signs of poor health.  It was this that led them to delve into the world of organic farming.  Having learned much, they began a year of trialling.  It was a huge success, and convinced them that this was the way forward.  In 1998 they were awarded 'Agriculture Biologique' status.

Pasquet Cognac today

In the year 2003 the house brought to market it's very first organic cognac - the L'Organic VS Terroir.  Two years later they brought out the VSOP version of the same.  They continue to tend their seven hectares of Grande Champagne vines in the same organic manner, creating cognacs that the bio lover can truly enjoy.
